Ted
Ted is a compound developed for research in homebox genes and metabolism. Living organisms that ingest an active dose show rapid fundamental change in metabolic processes. Chimpanzees grow between 15-20 feet in height within 1 hour of ingesting Ted and can lift objects 500 times heavier during the peak than before administration. Shortest recorded cycle time was five minutes. Effects vary by gender, age and health. Onset of effects are marked by inattentiveness, auditory hallucinations, irritability, pupil dilation, thinning of the blood, and increase in heart rate. Bones of subjects may fracture during the peak of the transformation process, but most injuries heal by the end of the process. Subjects exhibit aggression, extreme anxiety and asocial behavior until the subject is put in an induced state of sedation or PAD7 is administered. PAD7 is shown to almost completely reverse Ted's effects and restore the patient to metabolic and physical form nearly identical to before ingesting the compound.
